Summary:
Under minimal supervision independently performs EEG and Ambulatory EEG monitoring procedures according to company policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:

EEG T (ABRET) is preferred but not required. 2-Current BLS Certification.
Education:
1-Associate Degree preferred. 2-Some experience with long-term EEG monitoring preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1-Demonstrates positive and appropriate interpersonal skills with patients, patient families, company personnel, physicians and other customers. 2-Adheres to and demonstrates knowledge of company administrative policies and procedures. 3-Performs EEG and LTM procedure according to company policies and procedures. 4-Reviews studies on a regular basis with supervisor. Receives and implements all suggestions for improving quality of future studies. 5-Maintains knowledge of appropriate actions to take during patient emergency situation and ensures patient safety. 6-Maintains knowledge of and adheres to infection control standards and guidelines. 7-Maintains knowledge of neuroanatomy and physiology, clinical neurology, electronics and electrical safety as related to EEG procedures performed. 8-Maintains knowledge of clinical correlates related to EEG procedures performed. 9-Keeps equipment, accessories and physical facilities neat and clean, maintains proper supplies. 10-Performs administrative duties according to company policy and procedure. 11-Provides age appropriate care. 12-Performs all duties in a timely manner.
