The Neurodiagnostic Technician is responsible for obtaining standard and complex recordings, as well as special procedures, EEG recording and advanced testing procedures.Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited/formal EEG program or on the job training required, Neuroanatomy course a plus BLS Certification through American Heart Association Minimum of 1 year of neurodiagnostic experience EEG Tech Certification required within 1 year of hireScheduling Requirements:
Full-Time Day Shift (36 hours per week) Must be able to take on-call shiftsEssential Functions:
Responsible for obtaining standard and complex recordings, as well as special procedures: EEG recording and advanced testing procedures Ability to be on-call for EEG and LTM patients Able to do all inpatient, outpatient and portable EEG testing Able to hook up/clean up and take call for Long Term Video Monitoring testing Selects predetermined electrode combinations as necessary by the history of each individual patient Applies suitable electrodes as needed per study utilizing the 10/20International Electrode Placement System Benefits and Perks:
