The Intraoperative Monitoring (IONM) Technologist works in surgical settings to help protect a patient's nervous system during operations.

Qualifications:

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs. Minimum of one (1) or more years of experience in intraoperative monitoring. Experience in Electroencephalography, Electromyography, Somatosensory Evoked Potentials, Motor Evoked Potentials and Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potentials. Strong attention to detail, clinical judgment, and ability to communicate clearly under pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

Formal training in neuromonitoring, neurodiagnostics, or a related biomedical field.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
