Position Summary Nuclear medicine technologists are direct patient caregivers. They perform dose preparation and administration functions for diagnostic and/or therapeutic purpose; perform patient procedures, process, and enhance images, and prepare images for interpreting physician to view Responsibilities Essential Functions Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine, therapeutic nuclear medicine, PET scanning, cardiac stress lab functions, and radiopharmacy functions as required. If a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is dual certified as RT(CT) or NMTCB(CT), may also perform diagnostic CT imaging as required by guidelines or physician order Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to quality care Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures Adheres to Baptist Health mission statements and strategic imperatives Performs all nuclear medicine dynamic, static and functional procedures required by specific studies Performs SPECT and
