Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Full-Time |

Walnut Creek, CA Overview:

Provide diagnostic imaging services with a focus on brain SPECT scans and related quality assurance procedures. Responsibilities include patient preparation, IV administration, radiopharmaceutical dosing, imaging, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform brain SPECT scans and process images daily Prepare patients, start IVs, administer doses Conduct daily camera QC, hot lab duties, constancy checks, surveys, and wipe tests Order isotopes and manage inventory Maintain log books and regulatory documentation Perform sealed source leak tests, calibrator linearity, geometry, and accuracy testing

Requirements:

Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist license Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume clinic Experience with pediatric and adult patients Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills Compassionate, patient‑focused approach Familiarity with brain imaging preferred Background check and drug screening required
