1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of cardiac nuclear medicine experience for a hospital-based cardiac nuc med position. Details Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Nuclear Medicine department serving adult patients Utilizes GE Myospect and GE 830 cameras for cardiac imaging studies Performs adenosine and Persantine pharmacological stress testing, exercise/rest single and multiple studies, and thallium stress tests 5x8 hour day shifts, Wednesday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Requires proficiency in starting and maintaining IVs and safe storage, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience in Nuclear Medicine, specifically cardiac nuc med ARRT (R), BLS, and CNMT certification required Epic EMR experience required within the last year Valid state license required at time of submission, if applicable Must be proficient with isolation precautions and PPE Copy of certifications and references required for consideration Additional Information Perform cardiac nuclear medicine imaging studies including pharmacological and exercise stress testing First-time travelers are accepted for this role Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered Local candidates are not accepted Previous staff must have a break in service of at least 1 year before returning All time off requests must be submitted with the initial application
