Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Travel This opportunity calls for a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) with expertise in Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging. The role is based in Portland, ME, at a 700-bed hospital known for advanced care. This travel assignment offers a Monday through Friday day shift schedule with no weekends or call duties, ensuring a well-balanced workweek alongside full-time staff. Responsibilities include performing general nuclear medicine procedures, with a focus on nuclear cardiology and oncologic PET imaging. The technologist may float between inpatient and outpatient settings, requiring flexibility and strong skills with Siemens equipment. Daily practice will involve using Epic and
NMISH EMR
systems to support patient care.
Qualifications and Experience:
Certification:
CNMT or ARRT(N) with valid state licensure Minimum 3 years of nuclear medicine experience, including nuclear cardiology and oncologic PET imaging Proficiency with Siemens imaging systems Ability to float between inpatient and outpatient nuclear medicine and PET departments Strong teamwork, self-motivation, and patient-centered approach
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, day shifts No weekends or call Scheduled alongside full-time staff 40 guaranteed weekly hours

700-bed hospital with a 1:1 patient ratio Nuclear medicine services located in two facilities: main hospital in Portland, ME, and outpatient imaging center in Scarborough, ME (10-minute commute) Dress code allows any scrub color; no logos or open-toe shoes permitted Portland, Maine offers a vibrant cultural scene with access to beautiful coastal landscapes and a rich history.
