Job Description
Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Travel This opportunity is ideal for a certified nuclear medicine technologist (CNMT) seeking a travel assignment in a dynamic hospital setting. Located in South Portland, ME, this role supports a large 700-bed hospital specializing in nuclear medicine and PET imaging with Siemens equipment. You will work Monday through Friday during day shifts—no weekends or call responsibilities—offering excellent work-life balance. Responsibilities include performing nuclear cardiac, oncology PET, and general nuclear medicine imaging procedures across inpatient and outpatient locations. You may float between the main hospital and the nearby outpatient center, just a short 10-minute drive away. The role requires working alongside full-time staff in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Key Qualifications:
CNMT or ARRT(N) certification and current state licensure Minimum 3 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience Expertise in nuclear cardiac and oncologic PET imaging Familiarity with Siemens imaging equipment and EMR systems (Epic, NMISH) Team-oriented, self-motivated, with strong patient care focusSchedule:
Monday to Friday, day shift 40 guaranteed hours per week No weekends or call requiredAdditional Details:
Must adhere to facility dress code: scrubs allowed; no logos or open-toe shoes Serve adult patient population with a 1:1 patient ratio Flexible assignment that includes inpatient and outpatient imaging servicesAbout South Portland, ME:
