Advanced imaging technology & cutting-edge equipment Collaborative and supportive clinical environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation What You'll Do The Nuclear Medicine Technologist I assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the nuclear medicine equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.
What We're Looking For Education :
2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
Experience :
Minimum of one year of experience in nuclear medicine, required
Licensure/Certification:
Certified and registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or
NMTCB - RT
(N) or CNMT, required. Applicable state license, required. Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; good communication skills; capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms; working knowledge of various types of nuclear medicine equipment, able to adapt to new and various situations and procedures according to age of patient served; has ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his / her age-specific needs.
