1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist requiring 1+ years of experience and ARRT (N) or CNMT certification for a clinic setting. Details Nuclear Medicine department within a Heart & Vascular Services clinic Adult patient population with a 1:1 patient ratio Handles 8-10 cases per day Utilizes GE and Siemens equipment Epic charting system used Day shift, 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends No on-call requirements Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience required ARRT (N) or CNMT certification required BLS certification required NJ state license required prior to start (license required if applicable) Strong myocardial knowledge and skills required Experience with GE and Siemens equipment required Epic charting experience required Skills required include adenosine infusion, exercise/rest single and multiple studies, persantine infusion, pharmacological stress, and thallium stress testing Proficiency in drawing venous blood, starting and maintaining IVs, and isolation precautions/PPE required Experience in storing, handling, and disposing of radioactive materials required Additional Information Holiday policy requires working 2 of 3 major holidays First-time travelers accepted Local candidates accepted at the same rate Any scrub color permitted Time off and schedule requests must be submitted and approved prior to offer Former employees of the health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
