Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist with expertise in general nuclear imaging. This role is a 13-week contract, requiring a highly skilled professional to support a collaborative diagnostic imaging team.
Schedule/Hours:
5 days per week (Monday to Friday) 8-hour shifts: 8am-4pm No weekends or on-call requirements
Qualifications:
Active certification in ARRT(N) or CNMT for Nuclear Medicine Current NJ State License for Nuclear Medicine Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Preferred background in performing a variety of general nuclear medicine procedures, such as bone scans, hepatobiliary scans, lung scans, and thyroid scans
Responsibilities:
Conduct high-quality nuclear medicine imaging studies according to established protocols Accurately prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for patient studies, maintaining all safety standards Collaborate with interpreting physicians and technologist colleagues to ensure exceptional patient care Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and hospital safety standards Operate advanced imaging equipment and troubleshoot when necessary Provide compassionate support and clear communication to patients throughout their studies
