Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled professional experienced in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging. This contract position is ideal for someone eager to start as soon as possible and is comfortable working across multiple locations on a mobile route.
Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week
Key Qualifications:
Proficiency in Imaging—specifically Nuclear Medicine, CT/PET, and Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification required: NMTCB or ARRT(N), and at least one of the following: ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT) Valid New Jersey state licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology Experience with PET/CT protocols, scanning equipment, and patient preparation Ability to work independently while traveling between assigned locations
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures according to established protocols Accurately calibrate and operate advanced imaging technology Ensure high-quality diagnostic images and follow safety protocols for radiation use Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation Maintain detailed patient records and document examination findings accurately Adhere to compliance, safety, and documentation standards as required by state and local regulations Travel to designated sites, including Newark, Jersey City, Rahway, and Elizabeth, to provide consistent coverage This position offers an excellent chance to expand your experience within a dynamic and supportive environment.
