Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract A skilled Nuclear Medicine/PET CT Technologist is needed for a 13-week contract working with advanced imaging technology. Utilize your expertise and certification to provide high-quality diagnostic services using a GE Omnipet CT unit.
Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week (4x10's, days)
Key Qualifications:
Experience with GE imaging systems required (specifically GE Omni equipment) Dual certification: Must have one of the following combinations: NMTCB or ARRT(N)
AND ARRT
(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT) Current licensure from the State of New York in both Nuclear Medicine AND Radiology Solid experience with CT/PET imaging protocols and nuclear medicine procedures Commitment to accuracy, patient comfort, and high safety standards
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine and PET/CT technology, following physician instructions Operate GE Omni and related imaging equipment efficiently and safely Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as needed for imaging studies Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of imaging results Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, safety, and infection control standards Offer compassionate patient care and clear communication throughout procedures Support workflow collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare professionals This opportunity allows for professional growth in a dynamic clinical environment using state-of-the-art equipment.
