Job Description

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Parkview Bryan Hospital Sign-on up to 15k! Part-time | Mon-Fri, 7a-3:30p varied Possibility for 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts 2 days of Nuclear Med cardiac procedures (Myoviews), 2 days of generals (hidas, gastric emptying, bone scans), and 1 day of both. About the Role Operates gamma cameras to perform standard dynamic, static and tomographic procedures, to provide excellence diagnostic images for interpretation. Is responsible for preparing, calibrating and calculating radiopharmaceuticals, while maintaining sterility and integrity of the prepared radiopharmaceutical compound. Treats patients, families and health care team members with respect and courtesy, anticipating the needs of customers. Operates diagnostic imaging equipment and performs diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department policy and procedures. Operates within the "Code of Ethics" and the "Clinical Performance Standards" established by the Society of Nuclear Medicine. Is knowledgeable of all NRC requirements for receiving, shipping, disposal, surveys, swipe testing, and radioactive contamination. Licensure/Certifications Satisfactory completion of formal nuclear medicine program, or radiologic technology with additional nuclear training Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARRT (R), ARRT (N), or CNMT. Licensed with the Indiana State Board of Health for nuclear. CPR Certification. Requirements/Qualifications Knowledge of imaging the various anatomical structures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., 100 lbs. shared lifting. Must be able to take call, evenings, weekends and holidays. Previous experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred , but not required, or previous experience in a similar role. #allied

$35.22 - $52.83 per hour
