Miami Valley North General Summary/Responsibilities:
Independently performs Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of radiopharmaceuticals. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Nuclear Medicine department including radiation protection practices. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of his/her duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have on call responsibilities. Independently performs Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of radiopharmaceuticals. Diploma Program Additional requirements:- Type of degree: Allied Health
- Area of study or major: Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Preferred educational qualifications: Associate degree, graduate of an accredited program or currently enrolled in a multi-modality program with board certification in Nuclear Medicine
- Position specific testing requirement: N/A Licensure/Certification/Registration
- CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire
- Nuclear Medicine registry required
- ODH licensure required
- ARRT RT (N) registry required and/or NMTCB
