Job Description
Department:
Nuclear Medicine Shift/schedule:
Full Time (40 hrs/wk)GENERAL SUMMARY
Works under the supervision of the Manager of Nuclear Medicine. The Nuclear Medicine Tech performs a variety of examinations utilizing Nuclear Medicine equipment and materials. Responsible for scheduling and preparing patients for examinations and preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals. Technologist will perform Nuclear Medicine exams accurately while utilizing Nuclear Medicine Gamma Cameras. Responsible for Ohio Department of Health and Ohio Administrative Code rules and regulations pertaining to Nuclear Medicine. Maintain ACR accreditation.QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Graduate of an Approved Accredited Nuclear Medicine program, and/or
- Graduate of an Approved Accredited Radiology program required
Licensure:
- ARRT(N) and/or CNMT required
- Ohio(N) required
- BLS certification within 90 day introductory period required
Experience:
- No prior experience necessary.
