Job Title:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Also known as: Nuclear Med Tech, NMT, PET/CT Technologist, SPECT Technologist, Radiology Technologist - Nuclear Medicine) Company Overview Cambay Healthcare is one of the fastest-growing staffing companies in the industry, connecting professionals with top healthcare facilities across the U.S. Position Overview Seeking a Contract Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team.
Schedule:
Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:30
PM Start Date:
10/21/2026
Duration:
13 Weeks with possible extension Key Responsibilities Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures. Operate Gamma Cameras, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT equipment. Maintain quality control and safety standards. Document procedures and patient records accurately. Administer IV injections and start IV lines as needed. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members. Provide patient education and support throughout procedures. Requirements Active MRT certification from the Texas Medical Board or Texas Department of State Health Services. ARRT (N) or CNMT certification required. Minimum 2 years of current Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience. Experience with cardiac studies and EKGs. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Education Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program. Certifications ARRT (N) or
CNMT BLS
(AHA) MRT Certification (Texas) Preferred Qualifications Siemens imaging equipment experience. Spectrum Imaging experience. Experience with PET/CT and
SPECT/CT
systems. Knowledge of nuclear medicine therapeutic treatments.
