1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT(N) or

CNMT/NMTCB

certification for a day shift assignment. Details Nuclear Medicine department setting Adult patient population across clinic and nuclear cardiology settings Performs bone scans, thyroid studies, renal flow studies, brain scans, lung scans, and liver/spleen scans Cardiac stress testing including adenosine infusion, exercise/rest, and pharmacological stress procedures SPECT imaging for bone, brain, liver, and renal studies Performs portable/bedside procedures as needed Uses GE and Siemens equipment Epic EMR experience required 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience required ARRT(R) certification required BLS certification required CNMT and NMTCB certifications preferred AHA certification preferred; ARC not accepted License required if applicable Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Skilled in drawing venous blood, starting and maintaining IVs, and isolation precautions/PPE Experience with storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials State-issued ID required prior to consideration SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Perform a range of nuclear medicine procedures including bone, thyroid, renal, brain, lung, and liver scans Conduct cardiac stress testing procedures such as adenosine and Persantine infusion studies Complete required competency modules prior to start, with any remaining modules finished during orientation and annually RTO requests limited to 5 non-consecutive days, with only one holiday RTO request permitted during the November-January holiday season All RTO must be approved by management prior to contract signing Local candidates within 90 miles are accepted
