Job Description

Position Overview A reputable healthcare facility in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Locum Tenens CRNA to join its anesthesia care team. This assignment offers competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, and the chance to work in one of Florida's most energetic coastal cities known for its beaches, motorsports, and growing medical community. Key Responsibilities Provide safe, high‑quality anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures (general, ortho, GI, urology, OB depending on facility). Conduct pre‑anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans. Administer general, regional, and MAC anesthesia. Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process and manage post‑anesthesia recovery. Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility protocols and regulatory standards.
Assignment Details Schedule:
10-hour day shifts No call requirement
Case Types:
Bread & butter, ortho and endo Must be board-certified or board-eligible Paid travel & expenses Qualifications Active CRNA certification (NBCRNA) Current Florida APRN license (or ability to obtain) Minimum 1-2 years of anesthesia experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and manage diverse case loads Experience with regional anesthesia preferred but not required
