Join South Florida Same Day Surgery Center, a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgical facility in Pompano Beach, where you'll provide anesthesia care in a collaborative environment while enjoying a predictable weekly schedule with additional PRN opportunities as needed. Our experienced team is committed to delivering safe, high-quality surgical care in a comfortable, patient-focused environment. We combine advanced technology with compassionate service and a collaborative approach to continuously improve the patient experience and surgical outcomes. What You'll Do As a CRNA, you'll provide comprehensive anesthesia care throughout the surgical experience, working closely with physicians, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the clinical team. Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluate patients prior to procedures Review patient identification, medical histories, and relevant clinical information Develop and administer appropriate anesthesia plans based on individual patient needs Monitor patients throughout the peri-anesthetic period using current standards and techniques Manage patient airways and monitor respiratory status Prepare anesthesia equipment, supplies, operating rooms, and necessary gases Perform ongoing patient assessments and document findings accurately Request and evaluate diagnostic testing when appropriate Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to support safe patient care Maintain current knowledge of anesthesia practices, technology, equipment, and techniques Complete required annual training and maintain applicable credentials Perform other clinical responsibilities as needed Qualifications Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in nurse anesthesia required Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Active
APRN/CRNA
license in good standing Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification Three or more years of prior experience preferred Strong knowledge of anesthesia practices and critical nursing skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software Skills for Success Excellent clinical judgment and patient assessment skills Strong verbal and written communication Compassionate, patient-centered approach Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Strong organization and attention to detail Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and surgical staff Sound understanding of medical terminology Commitment to patient safety and quality care Ability to remain focused and composed in a surgical environment Join Our Team If you're looking for a flexible anesthesia opportunity where you can provide meaningful patient care while working alongside an experienced surgical team in a modern outpatient setting, we'd love to hear from you.
