As a Locum CRNA s, you will play a key role in delivering safe and effective anesthesia services across a variety of surgical and procedural cases. You will work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role is ideal for a CRNA who thrives in fast-paced clinical environments and is committed to upholding the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia care plans. Administer anesthesia under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist. Monitor patients during anesthesia and manage emergence from anesthesia. Document all anesthesia-related information accurately and promptly. Respond to emergency situations and provide airway management as needed. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth procedural workflows. Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and post-operative care. Ensure all anesthesia equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. Adhere to institutional policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews as assigned. Requirements Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program (Master's or Doctoral degree). Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification in the state of Florida. National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification. Associate-level experience, with strong foundational skills in anesthesiology. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Proficiency in administering general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and anesthesia documentation systems. Excellent patient assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for working with diverse teams. Ability to adapt to varying schedules, on-call rotations, and surgical case mix.
