Job Description

Vituity seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to deliver high-quality anesthesia care in a collaborative hospital setting. In this role, you will assess patients, develop anesthesia plans, administer general and regional anesthesia, and manage intraoperative monitoring and post-anesthesia recovery. You'll work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nurses to ensure safe, compassionate care. Responsibilities Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients Continuously monitor patients' physiological status and adjust anesthesia as needed Manage airway, ventilation, and hemodynamic support during procedures Provide post-anesthesia evaluation, pain management, and recovery oversight Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing teams to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the medical record Adhere to Vituity, hospital, and regulatory policies, safety, and quality standards Participate in quality improvement, protocol development, and clinical best practices Educate patients and families about anesthesia plans, risks, and post-procedure expectations Required Skills Anesthesia administration (general, regional, MAC) Pre-anesthesia assessment and risk stratification Airway management and ventilator management Hemodynamic monitoring and pharmacology Post-anesthesia care and pain management Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric and adult resuscitation skills Patient and family education on anesthesia Quality and safety protocol adherence
