Responsibilities :

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is responsible for administering anesthesia and providing anesthesia-related care before, during, and after surgical or procedural interventions. Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort. determine appropriate anesthesia plans. Administer various types of anesthesia, including general, regional, and local anesthesia, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed to maintain stability during surgery. Provide post-anesthesia care, assessing patients as they recover and addressing any complications. Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration and patient responses, following legal and facility documentation requirements. Collaborate with surgical and medical teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families about the anesthesia process and post-operative expectations.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program Active RN and CRNA licensure in the state of Kentucky BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification As Needed to fill in for vacation and sick relief for full-time CRNA
