A Nurse Anesthetist specializes in administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgery or other medical procedures, and provides anesthesia-related care. Performs work that requires higher qualifications than an anesthesia technician. Works in a hospital, directly under a physician, surgeon or anesthesiologist.
Join our hospital-based internal Float Team as a full-time CRNA and enjoy the variety of caring for patients across multiple perioperative departments. This role offers exposure to a broad range of cases—including L&D, GYN, orthopedics, neurosurgery, general surgery, vascular, GI, robotics, and thoracic—along with flexible 10- and potential 12-hour shifts and paid at-home backup call for added income. No new grads will be considered for this role. Qualifications CRNA from an accredited nurse anesthetist program. Board Certification by NBCRNA. At least 2-3 years of CRNA experience, post-CRNA graduation. Eligible for unrestricted CRNA licensure in the state of practice.
