Job Description

Locums assignment in Sault Ste. Marie, MI — clinic work plus on-call coverage. Well-equipped setting with varied anesthesia cases.
Schedule Clinic:
Mon-Thu, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Call rotation: 1:4 or 1:5 (weekdays and weekends) Weekday call: 3:00 PM-7:00 AM Weekend call: 3:00 PM Friday-7:00
AM Monday Weekend:
typically one night of call per week Case mix: ~85% outpatient, 15% inpatient Cases / Systems Endoscopy, general surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, urology Peripheral nerve blocks preferred but not required No cardiac or neurosurgical cases
EMR/voice:
EPIC / Dragon Key Responsibilities Provide anesthesia care for listed procedures in outpatient and inpatient settings Cover scheduled call for urgent/emergent cases Perform spinals, epidurals, arterial and central/venous catheter placement as needed Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe perioperative care Requirements NBCRNA certification Active Michigan CRNA license (required)
AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS 1-2
years CRNA experience preferred Proficiency with spinals, epidurals, arterial and venous catheters Location Sault Ste. Marie, MI (Upper Peninsula) — scenic, outdoor recreation, close to Canada; community hospital environment with access to modern amenities.
