Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is a nationally recognized academic health system, and our Winston Salem Campus is a level 1 trauma center. While working in the Inpatient Anesthesia Department , you will expand your skillset by working on a wide variety of cases, including but not limited to: Orthopedic, Vascular, Burns, Cardiothoracic (specific team), Neurology, ENT, General/Abdominal, Robotic, Gynecology. Other cases you may experience, outside of the day-to-day, include: EP, IR, MRI, Burn Tank, Brachytherapy, and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE).What You'll Do:
As a valued member of our healthcare team, the CRNA will play a key role in team-focused patient care, providing anesthesia using safe and quality techniques during Inpatient Procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Potential for and encouraged to precept Student Nurse Anesthetists- opportunity to mentor and assess these medical students.
CRNA Requirements:
Graduation of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program, Master's Degree or Higher Required. Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing + Currently Certified or Recertified to practice as a Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board Current CPR Certification•ACLS, BLS
Ability to demonstrate clinical competency within the scope of granted privileges. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse clinical teams.Where You'll Live:
