Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 55-day assignment in Alaska, starting Nov 24, 2026. This role involves managing a wide range of family medicine cases, including acute and chronic care, performing minor procedures, and administrative duties for the clinic. The schedule is 8 AM to 4:30 PM with on-call responsibilities. The successful candidate will be the sole provider in the clinic, offering comprehensive care to the village community. Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive family medicine care for acute and chronic conditions, including colds, coughs, flu, diabetes, hypertension, and substance abuse. Manage and organize the clinic, including administrative tasks, taking calls, and being responsible for lab services. Perform minor procedures such as biopsies, toenail removal, abscess drainage, wound care, laceration repairs, suturing, and splinting. Function as the sole provider in the clinic, addressing a variety of patient needs and referring serious cases as appropriate. Draw labs as required.
