Patient Education :

Educating patients about weight management, nutrition, and lifestyle changes.

Evaluations:

Conduct patient evaluations in person and engage in telehealth consultations to provide accessible care for patients remotely.

Treatment Planning :

Developing personalized treatment plans that may include diet, exercise, medication, and behavioral interventions.

Monitoring Progress :

Regularly assessing patients' progress and making necessary adjustments to their treatment plans.

Collaboration :

Working with other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive care.

Performance:

Perform procedures such as administering injections while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Compliance:

Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

Continuous Learning :

Engaging in ongoing education and training to stay updated on the latest research and treatment options.

Support and Motivation :

Providing emotional and psychological support as well as educational sessions to help patients overcome challenges and maintain their weight loss journey. Basic qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner license with relevant certifications in the state of Alabama. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems for efficient documentation. Preferred qualifications Experience in primary care clinic or urgent care clinic is highly desirable. Background in specialties such as medical spa or preventive health in the adult population is a plus.
