WEEKEND ONLY POSITION

(PART-TIME), Ability to work Saturdays and/or Sundays Malpractice coverage paid by the employer PT benefits include allowance: health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, Major Holidays off, CME allowance, CME paid time off Work side by side with the physician, who's available on-site for consultation & enjoys teaching/collaboration Small FP office setting, with a 22-patient daily cap for an 8 hour day Great support staff Fully integrated EHR Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assess and treat patients with common acute & chronic conditions Collaborate with the physician in the health care of patients with chronic illnesses. Educate patients/families about preventive care, positive behaviors, medical issues, and the use of prescribed medical treatments/medications. Maintain accurate, and confidential medical records. Document all medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatments, outcomes, education, referrals, and consultations Order diagnostic tests as appropriate. Prescribe medications. Promote preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, self-care skills, and use of prescribed medical treatments and medications through education and counseling.
