Nurse Practitioner (NP)•Occupational Health Event CareerNation is seeking Nurse Practitioners to support an occupational health event. This is a short-term, on-site assignment supporting employee health and human-performance evaluations. Potential to convert into a travel contract! ) Responsibilities The Nurse Practitioner will conduct human performance/physical ability examinations designed to assess whether participants can safely, comfortably, and competently perform the physical movements associated with their job duties without restriction.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct human performance and physical ability examinations Obtain and/or verify manual vital signs Guide participants through required physical movements and functional activities Evaluate movements such as: Squatting Bending Twisting Sit-to-stand movements Balance activities Duck walking Other job-related functional movements Observe participants for proper and safe completion of testing activities Complete required examination documentation Communicate any concerns or issues to the event lead Maintain a professional, efficient, and positive experience for participants throughout the event Requirements Active, unrestricted NP license Current BLS certification Previous occupational health, employee health, urgent care, primary care, or physical assessment experience preferred Comfortable conducting hands-on physical/function assessments Ability to remain on-site for the full scheduled event Strong communication and documentation skills This is a short-term assignment with the potential to be considered for additional CareerNation occupational-health events and travel contracts.
