The APRN is a licensed independent practitioner responsible for managing and coordinating healthcare for their assigned patient population in accordance with state and federal regulations and nursing standards of care. They perform assessments, diagnose, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes in collaboration with the healthcare team. Other requirements include graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, current licensure with prescriptive authority, specialty certification, and current BLS, ACLS, or PALS as needed. The position involves a day shift with work hours from 8 am to 5 pm, including variable call coverage on weekends. This role offers 40 hours bi-weekly with strong computer skills required.
