You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and providing ongoing patient care within a supportive and innovative environment. Duties Perform thorough psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for patients across age groups, including children, adults, and geriatrics. Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to address behavioral health needs effectively. Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements. Provide psychotherapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches to promote mental wellness and resilience. Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Collaborate closely with primary care providers, psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans. Skills Proven experience working as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on behavioral health or psychiatry. Strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses, pharmacology, and treatment modalities including psychopharmacology. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks for documentation and patient management. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients of all ages and backgrounds. Ability to perform physical examinations, vital signs assessment, and medication administration confidently. Familiarity with telehealth platforms to provide remote behavioral health services when needed. Knowledge of healthcare regulations including
HIPAA, DEA
