The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with our Infectious Disease physician and clinical team to provide high-quality patient care in both hospital and outpatient settings. This position is an excellent opportunity for an NP interested in specialty medicine. Previous Infectious Disease experience is not required. Candidates with experience in internal medicine, hospital medicine, family medicine, or other medical specialties are encouraged to apply. Duties and Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations Perform inpatient and outpatient follow-up visits Review laboratory results, microbiology, cultures, imaging, and other diagnostic studies Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician Monitor treatment response and adjust care plans as appropriate Assist with management and follow-up of patients receiving antimicrobial therapy Coordinate care with hospitals, primary care physicians, specialists, home health agencies, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation using the electronic medical record Maintain compliance with HIPAA and applicable clinical and regulatory requirements Collaborate closely with the supervising physician and clinical staff to provide efficient, high-quality patient care Qualifications Current California Nurse Practitioner license Board Certified Nurse Practitioner Current or eligible DEA registration Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills Comfortable caring for medically complex patients Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Hospital or internal medicine experience preferred Ability to obtain hospital credentials and privileges as needed What We Offer Competitive compensation Full-time and part time position Paid time off and paid holidays Sick leaves Retirement plan Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Malpractice coverage Supportive physician-led practice Opportunity for professional growth in Infectious Disease and specialty medicine Opportunity to develop long-term clinical expertise while working directly with the supervising Infectious Disease specialist Schedule Full-time or Part time position.
