Position Overview:
Responsibilities include performing routine administrative and clinical responsibilities as clinic medical provider. This position utilizes knowledge of office systems, procedures, clinic and hospital regulations, interdepartmental functions and insurance standards and procedure to facilitate patient services provided in a primary care clinic.

Works directly with department managers to assist with development and instituting of policies and procedures that affect the clinic. Participates in team meetings and/or committees and special projects.
Requirements Preferred Education and Experience:
Previous experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in medically needy and underserved communities.
Licenses/Certificates:
Possession of a valid California license as a Physician Assistant OR Registered Nurse and Certification by the state of California, Board of Registered Nursing, as a Nurse Practitioner; Furnishing number (for Nurse Practitioners only ) DEA license, unrestricted; NPI number; Possession of/eligible for Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants ( for Physician Assistants only ) OR Possession of/eligible for American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certification ( for Nurse Practitioners only ) Current BLS Certificate, required. Current ACLS Certificate, preferred. Current PALS certificate, preferred. Salary Description $62.00-$91.36 DOE
