Job Description

Temp-to-Perm Nurse Practitioner for a 13‑week contract in Garberville, CA. The role offers up to $5,600 per week based on experience and flexible scheduling in a rural community.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality patient care in a clinical or urgent care setting. Perform physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans. Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients and families on preventive care and disease management.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Active California Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility for reciprocity). Board certification as an NP (FNP, AGNP, or other relevant specialty). DEA license (or willingness to obtain). BLS and ACLS certifications. Minimum of one year of NP experience (preferred). Strong communication and clinical skills.
