Job Overview AMD Clinica Hispana is seeking a qualified and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing healthcare team in Huntington Park, California . We are looking for a provider who is comfortable serving a predominantly Spanish-speaking patient population and who can communicate fluently and professionally in both English and Spanish . Requirements Active California Nurse Practitioner license/credentials required. Must be legally authorized and fully qualified to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in California. Fluent English and Spanish are required. Strong communication and patient-care skills. Comfortable providing primary care services to a diverse patient population. Candidates currently living outside California are welcome to apply and must be willing to relocate to California . Candidates with previous medical education, physician training, or experience as a physician outside the United States are strongly encouraged to apply . Must be dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently within the NP's authorized scope of practice. Responsibilities The Nurse Practitioner will provide primary care services, including: Patient evaluations and physical examinations Diagnosis and treatment of common acute and chronic conditions Ordering and reviewing laboratory tests and diagnostic studies Prescribing medications within the NP's authorized scope of practice Preventive care and patient education Follow-up care and treatment plans Maintaining accurate and complete medical records Coordinating referrals when medically appropriate Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate is a bilingual Nurse Practitioner who enjoys working directly with the Hispanic community and values accessible, patient-centered healthcare. Previous experience or education as a physician outside the United States is a plus, but is not required.
