Responsibilities include:
Providing primary care services, conducting physical exams, obtaining medical histories, and ordering diagnostic tests. Interpreting data to determine diagnoses and treatment plans. Administering medications, suturing minor lacerations, and educating patients on health and prevention. Collaborating with physicians, maintaining patient records, and triaging calls. Ensuring patient confidentiality and safety.
Requirements:
MSN or MPAS degree and valid NP or PA license in Louisiana. Skills in patient assessment, medical procedures, and effective communication. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, respond calmly to emergencies, and maintain professionalism and confidentiality. Work environment involves office settings with frequent interruptions, physical activity, and exposure to hazards and infectious diseases.
