$100.00 - $500.00 per visit About Us We are a group of mobile physicians and providers who specialize in wound care and feeding tube management. Optimum Wound Care is seeking passionate providers who want to build a rewarding career in mobile healthcare on a PRN and per diem basis. If you are an MD, DO, PA, or NP with a valid California State license, regardless of experience level, we want to connect with you. We provide the training needed to set you up for success. Job Description We are seeking NP and PA wound care providers to become part of our team. You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team, traveling to and from patient homes to evaluate, debride, and treat wounds of various etiologies. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients on the first visit Diagnose and treat acute and chronic wounds Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments within scope of practice Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures Communicate with the clinical coordinator and other clinicians regarding wound care Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR Perform wound debridement, dressing changes, and other wound care procedures within scope of practice Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on wound progression Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs, imaging, and cultures relevant to wound healing Educate patients and caregivers on wound care techniques, nutrition, and prevention strategies Participate in quality improvement initiatives and track healing outcomes What We're Looking For Passion for serving your community. Comfortable driving up to 1 hour from home to see patients weekly at various locations. Comfortable seeing between 5 and 10 patients a day in an efficient and timely manner as your census grows Confidence in clinical skills and strong communication with patients Comfort with technology, including EMRs, tablets or laptops, and personal hotspots Ability to thrive in a remote and mobile work environment with consistent communication with back office support Qualifications Active California State license to practice (MD, DO, PA, or NP) Active driver's license and reliable transportation Comfortable driving approximately 5 to 10 miles from home, with some routes up to 1 hour Previous wound care experience is a plus but not required. We train new graduates and providers with no wound care background Ability to build rapport with patients, families, and facility staff Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Compensation and Benefits Pay per visit: $100 to $500, depending on visit complexity and volume No night shifts and no late calls Flexible schedule - we accommodate Malpractice insurance provided Full back office, marketing, and clinical support providedAdditional Details Medical Specialty:
