We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment with our client in California. This role primarily involves virtual patient care for an FQHC, with shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and includes the possibility of assisting with in-clinic overflow. The practitioner will manage a diverse patient population, addressing typical primary care concerns such as colds, flu, chronic conditions, and providing comprehensive care including homeless and LGBTQ patient services, alongside routine annual check-ups. Responsibilities and Duties Provide primary care services focusing on FQHC basics and rural health aspects. Address a range of patient complaints, potentially managing three or more per visit. Deliver care primarily via telehealth, with opportunities to support in-clinic patient overflow and walk-ins. Manage cases including cold, cough, flu, hypertension, diabetes, and homeless care. Offer specialized care for LGBTQ patients and conduct annual check-ups.
