We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment in California. This role involves providing comprehensive primary care within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting, addressing rural health aspects, and managing a variety of patient complaints. The position primarily focuses on telemedicine, with opportunities to assist with in-clinic overflow and walk-ins during an 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM shift. Responsibilities and Duties Provide primary care services within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) environment. Address rural health considerations and manage a diverse range of patient complaints. Primarily conduct patient consultations via telemedicine platforms. Be available to assist with in-clinic patient overflow and walk-ins when necessary. Manage a variety of cases including acute illnesses like cold, cough, and flu. Provide chronic disease management for conditions such as hypertension and diabetes. Deliver specialized care, including services for the homeless population and LGBTQ patients. Conduct routine annual check-ups and preventative care.
