Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant -

Endocrinology Location:

Near Oceanside, California, Southern California Coast We are seeking a California-licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for an outpatient endocrinology locum tenens assignment.

Position Details Start:

ASAP Initial Assignment:

13 weeks

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00

PM Lunch:

1 hour

Setting:

Outpatient clinic

Patient Volume:

Approximately 16 patients per day

New Consults:

4-6 per day

EMR:

Epic Credentialing:

Approximately 90 days Clinical Focus The caseload is primarily focused on: 70% Diabetes 20% Osteoporosis Acute diabetic patient management, including Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes Both in-person consultations and remote consultations performed onsite Diabetes Education Certification is a plus.
