Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity in Palmdale, CA We are hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform VA Veterans Disability Exams in Palmdale, California. This is an exam-only role supporting U.S. Veterans through Compensation and Pension (C&P) disability evaluations. There is no prescribing, treatment, follow-up care, on-call responsibility, or weekend work. The role offers a consistent weekday schedule, low daily patient volume, paid training, and ongoing support. New graduate NPs and PAs are encouraged to apply. Hours:

8:00 AM-4:00 PM No nights, weekends, or on-call duties Approximately 3-5 disability exams per day No prescribing or treatment responsibilities No ongoing patient panel or follow-up care Structured exam process and standardized documentation templates Paid training and continued support Meaningful work serving U.S. Veterans Responsibilities Perform VA disability Compensation and Pension examinations Review medical records and relevant documentation before each evaluation Conduct in-person evaluations in accordance with established VA protocols Complete accurate, timely documentation using standardized templates Maintain professional, compassionate interactions with Veterans Follow all applicable exam guidelines and workflow requirements Qualifications Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license License in any U.S. state accepted Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing, Physician Assistant Studies, or a related advanced-practice field Strong documentation, organization, and time-management skills Ability to commute to Palmdale, CA for an on-site role #advance1
