We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join a mission-driven healthcare team in Porterville, California. This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive care to infants, children, and adolescents in a collaborative and patient-centered environment. $85/hour compensation Full-time, outpatient pediatric primary care practice Provide care to infants, children, and adolescents Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions Conduct developmental and behavioral screenings Prescribe medications, immunizations, and treatment plans Collaborative team of physicians, nurses, behavioral health providers, and support staff Modern EHR and integrated care model Focus on preventive care, wellness, and patient education Opportunity to serve Native American and underserved populations Supportive, mission-driven healthcare environment Perform comprehensive pediatric assessments and physical exams Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions Provide preventive care and health education to patients and families Monitor immunization schedules and well-child visits Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary team members Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR Participate in quality improvement initiatives and care coordination efforts Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) Certification Active California Nurse Practitioner License (or ability to obtain) DEA Registration and Furnishing Number BLS Certification required; PALS preferred Pediatric primary care experience preferred Experience working with underserved populations is a plus Competitive $85/hour rate Meaningful work serving children and families Collaborative and supportive team culture Opportunity to positively impact community health Stable, full-time position with a respected healthcare organization If you're looking for a rewarding Pediatric NP opportunity where you can make a difference every day, we'd love to speak with you.
