This position focuses on direct patient care, clinical assessment, treatment planning, medication management, laboratory review, patient education, and ongoing follow up. We are looking for a provider who is comfortable working within the appropriate scope of practice while collaborating closely with our physician and clinical staff. Responsibilities Evaluate new and established patients and obtain relevant medical histories Perform appropriate physical assessments and review vital signs Review laboratory results and clinical history to develop individualized treatment plans Diagnose and manage men's health and wellness concerns within the provider's scope of practice Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with California requirements and clinic protocols Monitor patient response to treatment and make appropriate adjustments Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, lifestyle changes, and follow up care Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record Coordinate care with the physician and clinical team as appropriate Respond to patient questions and clinical follow up needs Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements Participate in ongoing clinical quality and safety standards Qualifications Current California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license Appropriate national board certification Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills Comfortable reviewing laboratory results and managing longitudinal patient care Experience with electronic medical records Professional, dependable, and comfortable working in a collaborative outpatient setting Preferred Experience Previous experience in men's health, hormone health, primary care, family medicine, urology, endocrinology, wellness medicine, or a related outpatient specialty is preferred but not required. Experience managing patients over multiple follow up visits and adjusting treatment plans based on clinical response and laboratory findings is especially valuable.
