Nurse Practitioner, Family Practice Unity Wellness Community Health Center Rosemead, CA Job Details Part-time From $75 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications Nursing RN License Primary care DEA License Advanced practice provider Nursing Family medicine Full Job Description We are hiring a part-time Nurse Practitioner specializing in family practice for Unity Wellness Community Health Center, our Non-Profit Community Health Center, located in Rosemead, CA. Our practice is committed to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare to patients and families throughout the Los Angeles community. This NP role will start off as a part-time one and eventually move into a full-time role as we grow our practice. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Diagnose and manage common acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions Provide preventive and wellness examinations Order, perform, and interpret appropriate diagnostic and laboratory testing Prescribe medications and other treatments within the NP's scope of practice Administer or order vaccines, injections, and other appropriate therapeutic treatments Refer patients to specialists and other healthcare providers when appropriate Maintain timely, accurate, and complete electronic medical records
