As a PMHNP with Jaywalker Lodge, you'll have the opportunity to do more than manage symptoms—you'll help men build a foundation for lasting recovery. You'll work alongside an experienced, multidisciplinary team to provide psychiatric care for clients navigating substance use, trauma, and co-occurring mental health conditions in a supportive, community-based setting. RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct psychiatric evaluations to include intake assessments as well as follow-up assessments ( approximately 3 days onsite, 10 to 15 hours total per week) Create, communicate, and carry out treatment plans with the patient and patient's families Prescribe medications when necessary Communicate with patients regarding diagnosis and treatment plan Make referrals to specialists as appropriate Provide services at community partnership location Other duties as assigned Must possess an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Colorado Must possess an unrestricted DEA license in the state of Colorado Must have a current board certification by a national certifying body as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) Eligible for paneling on all major insurance plans and to participate in Medicare Excellent communication, patient relations, time management skills, and safety awareness are required
