MidState Medical Center is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Palliative Care team! The Advanced Practitioner (APP) will work in collaboration with the attending physician and members of the interdisciplinary care team to deliver expert palliative care services to patients and their families living with chronic serious or acute life threatening illness, or those nearing end of life. The APP is an expert in pain and symptom management, seeking to optimize patient function and quality of life within the limits of the disease process, while considering factors such as fear, communication barriers, economic issues and cultural traditions.Role :
