Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care to adult and/or pediatric patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment Conduct routine wellness visits, preventive screenings, and chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging results Prescribe medications and develop evidence-based treatment plans aligned with clinical guidelines Deliver patient education and counseling to promote health, wellness, and disease prevention Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals within an interdisciplinary care team Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR) Participate in quality improvement initiatives, care coordination, and population health efforts Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and infection control standards Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of compassion, inclusion, and excellence Required Skills Primary care evaluation and management Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, COPD, CHF) History taking and physical examination Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests Medication management and prescribing Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation (e.g., Epic or similar) Patient education and motivational interviewing Care coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration Clinical decision-making and evidence-based practice Regulatory and compliance knowledge (HIPAA, OSHA, infection control)
