The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence,. The candidate will conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses, and offer guidance on growth, development, and preventative care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive pediatric assessments and physical exams Diagnose and treat acute and chronic childhood illnesses Prescribe medications and other treatments in accordance with state regulations Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.) Provide education and counseling to patients and families on wellness, nutrition, and disease prevention Monitor growth and developmental milestones Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, and support staff to ensure coordinated care Maintain accurate and timely medical records using EMR systemsQualifications:
Current and unrestricted APRN/PA license in Connecticut Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program Current BLS and PALS certification Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pediatric setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to compassionate, family-centered careWork Environment:
Outpatient clinical setting 1-2 weekends per month and 16-32 hour weekday coverageBenefits:
