We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our urgent care team. The NP will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute conditions and injuries. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing urgent care cases and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver efficient, effective care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and minor medical emergencies. Perform comprehensive physical examinations and take medical histories. Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, X-rays) to aid in diagnosis. Prescribe medications, therapies, and interventions as appropriate in accordance with state and federal regulations. Provide immediate care for minor trauma, lacerations, fractures, sprains, and other urgent medical conditions. Educate patients on preventive care, health promotion, and proper treatment plans. Offer wound care, including suturing and dressing changes. Provide minor surgical procedures as needed (e.g., abscess drainage, foreign body removal). Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters in electronic health records (EHR). Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and medical assistants to ensure high standards of care. Compensation:

$55-$67 per hour (based on experience, plus earn additional incentives based on patient volume )

Schedule:

All Availabilities Considered! BLS, Board certified NP or PA 2 years of experience in an urgent care, emergency, or primary care setting preferred.

Pay:

$55.00 - $67.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 18.0 per week
